2. General Terms and Conditions

  • By registering for the Contest, Participants are deemed to have read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

  • Legality: The Contest is a one-time Commercial Lottery and must be conducted in accordance with the DRC Ministerial Order on gambling. It will not be unfair within the meaning of consumer protection laws.

  • Equal Chances: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Organiser guarantees that a paid Entry does not increase the unitary chance of winning compared to an AFER Entry.

  • The Participant must submit complete and accurate contact details (including a valid email address and phone number) which will be used to notify the Winner.

  • The Organiser shall in no event be liable for any inability to contact a Participant due to errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the contact details provided.

  • The Contest is open to all natural persons aged 18 or over. Excluded are the Organiser, their immediate families, agents, employees, and the Administrator.

  • By registering, all Participants acknowledge that paid or free Entries in no way guarantee winning the prize.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify (at its sole discretion and without refund) any Participant in the event of reasonable grounds to believe that the Participant has acted in violation of these General Terms and Conditions (e.g., fraud, use of automated systems).

  • All Entries shall become the property of the Organiser upon receipt and will not be returned.

3. Participation Methods and Free Entry (AFER)

3.1. Paid Route (Purchase of Bundle Tickets):

The Participant can purchase Entries (Tickets) online at the following rates. This purchase is a bundle purchase of unitary chances at a reduced price:

50-ticket Pack 50 $20

3.2. Alternate Free Entry Route (AFER)

To ensure legal compliance, Participants may obtain one (1) free Entry per draw (10-day cycle) by submitting a request by mail.

AFER Modalities: The AFER Entry is considered just as convenient as the paid Entry. The request must be handwritten and clearly indicate:

  • The Participant's name, first name, full postal address, email address, and phone number.

  • The mention of the specific Draw concerned (e.g., "Participation CAN 2025 Contest - Draw #1").

The AFER Entry must be sent to the Organiser's address: ****. AFER Entries will be added to the draw pool without any discrimination or artificial delay.

3.3. Finalising the Entry: To finalise an Entry (paid or AFER), the participant must provide the required contact details. Once the Entry is submitted, it is considered final, and no refunds will be issued (unless the Contest is cancelled or closed prematurely).

4. Description of the Grand Prize

  • The purpose of the Contest is to win the Grand Prize.

  • Prizes: Three (3) Winners will be designated per draw cycle (every 10 days). The unitary prize is an All-Inclusive Trip to the CAN 2025 in Morocco for one person and one companion, including:

    • Accommodation: 7 nights in a shared apartment.

    • Match Tickets: 3 match tickets (Categories chosen by the Organiser).

    • afrikancorner.com Products and Goodies.

  • Prize Value: The unitary prize value is estimated between $1,060 and $1,760. The Organiser does not in any way guarantee the actual value of the Prize.

  • Exclusions: International flights and transport of the Winners to and from the international airport are excluded from the prize.

5. Draw Procedure

  • Cycle Closing Date: Contest cycles close every ten (10) days. The Prize Draw for each cycle will be conducted within three (3) days following the relevant Cycle Closing Date.

  • Winner Selection: The Winner will be the Participant whose details are drawn randomly in the presence of the Administrator and/or the Bailiff.

  • Final Decision: The decision of the Organiser and the Administrator is final and binding.

6. Contest Closure and Prize Fund

  • Normal Closure: The Contest will close no later than Saturday, December 20, 2025.

  • Premature Closure: If the Organiser determines that the Entries received are insufficient to cover the total value of the remaining prizes and the operating and marketing costs, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel or close the Contest early.

  • Prize Fund: If the Contest is closed early (Article 6.2), the Organiser will retain a portion of the Entry Fees to cover operating and marketing costs. The remaining balance (the "Prize Fund") will be awarded to the designated Winner instead of the original Grand Prize.

  • Total Cancellation: If the Contest is cancelled for any other reason (e.g., failure to obtain the required ministerial authorisations or approval in the DRC), the Organiser will refund the Entry Fees to each Participant (by card refund or bank transfer). In this case, the Organiser shall have no further liability to the Participant.

7. Notification, Publicity, and Personal Data

  • Notification: The Winner will be contacted by email or phone within fourteen (14) days of notification of their Winner status. The Winner must confirm acceptance of the Prize and provide supporting identity documents within seven (7) working days.

  • Alternate Winner: If the Winner cannot be contacted within the given timeframe, or if they are disqualified, the Organiser reserves the right to draw an Alternate Winner using the same method.

  • Publicity: The Winner authorises the Organiser to publish their name, age, and city of residence on the Organiser's Website and social media for the purpose of the Winner announcement. The Winner will be required to agree to media coverage following the draw, should the Organiser deem it necessary.

  • Data Protection: Participants' personal data will be used in accordance with applicable legislation (including GDPR for the European audience) and solely for the administration of the Contest. Data will be retained for up to three (3) months after the end of the game (except for Winners). Participants who exercise their right to data deletion before the draw will be deemed to waive their participation.

8. Disclaimer and Contact

  • General Disclaimer: The Organiser accepts no responsibility for Entries not received due to computer system failures, Internet network issues, or any other technical failure.

  • Social Networks: The Contest is in no way managed, sponsored, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), or any other social media platform. Participants must comply with the platform's terms of use.
